FREEDOM OF SPEECH

In think freedom of speech is not what it should be. The censorship is everyday in our life and sometimes we don’t realize. That’s really sad. Is normal to be in a country that, in one way or another, is censuring us because we think, to do, to make, to wear, to manifest…? Nowadays, if you print something, if you wear some color, if you are going somewhere, you can go to jail. So, freedom of speech? I don’t think so. Well, I know if there were an absolute freedom of speech, some people would take advantage of the situation and a lot of people would be affected. Maybe there would be problems. Anyway, I still think that we need more freedom of speech. I think the best way to deal with this delicate topic would be to leave people to do what they want to do. But, always with respect. “With respect and without threats” should be the slogan of freedom of speech. This is just my opinion and I know I can’t change the world. It is only an opinion that shouldn’t be censured. Maybe I don’t think like you. So, this is freedom of speech.

Biography

Josephine Cobie Smulders is a famous singer. She was born in 1892 in London. She went to BRICTT School. Her first job was being a waitress (an ordinary job). She was married ten years ago with Gerard Shown and they have 3 children. She becomes famous in a TV programme in Spain. She won! She recieves lots of awards like Grammy, MTV music awards... She will be in Madison Square Garden  this year. I will go to see her. I love her talent.

THE MARTIAN

In my opinion, this is a very good movie that everyone should see. I know this could be a typical opinion of this movie but I’m gonna explain why I think so.

At the beginning of the film, it introduces us a very strange situation those who aren’t astronauts: the situation is a storm. But it isn’t a normal storm, is a very strong storm in Mart. So, the first problem or dilemma: what should they do? Well, if the situation wouldn’t have been complicated, it would be easy: approach the mission. But, one of the astronauts stayed behind, he flew to the nothing. They have to leave him.

Well, Mark, this astronaut, is still alive. He is in unknown situation that neither he nor nobody have ever lived. So, what does he have to do now? His colleagues have left him, he haven’t any connection with NASA, he is completely alone and he has to survive.

So, one good thing to see this spectacular movie is for these situations: what would you do if you were in them? I think this movie is worth it for the situations that arise. These make you think about life and they make you re-think or reconsider important things.

An important message that offers us is never give up! Because if somebody in some time of this film has lose it, Mark would never have returned to the Earth.

So, what are you waiting to see it?

Dear Editor,

I am writing in response to your article I came across in Tuesday’s Edition of your newspaper. I was disappointed to read this article “Travelling by train a thing of the past”. I am from a Travel train company and I am going to explain why I think this article do not says the truth.

Firstly, there is an obvious advantage of traveling by other methods of transport, like you say in the article, they are not travelling by train. But this does not verify that I share your opinion. When I am talking with other methods of transport, I am not discriminanting the train because I am still thinking it is a good method of transport. So, if you say it is only a thing of the past, that is not the truth.

Next, lots of people use train every day to go work or to study or something. Is a good transport that, if you live in a big city, it is good and you can use it often.

Finally, I know the use of this method is not like before. Before, to make a big trip, always had to use train. Now, I know, the train is not the most used but it doesn’t mean that it is not used at all. If it were only for the past, our company would be ruined. So, I therefore suggest you think carefully before printing such comments.
